Vic Pace Named CESA Boys ECNL Director
Carolina Elite Soccer Academy (CESA) is excited to announce that Vic Pace will be joining our full time staff as the Boys ECNL Director.
Vic has an extensive playing and coaching background and has been the Executive Director of the Lonestar SC- Development Academy in Austin, Texas since 2003. Vic will be in attendance at our upcoming ECNL tryouts in June and will join us on a full time basis at the conclusion of Lonestar’s Development Academy season.
Vic is originally from Toronto, Ontario and played collegiately at the University of South Carolina- Upstate. He had an extremely successful playing career and was recognized as an NCAA 1st Team All-American in 1991. Vic was inducted into the USC-Upstate Athletics Hall of Fame in 2013.
Prior to joining Lonestar SC Vic played with the South Carolina Shamrocks (USL) and coached at Spartanburg Methodist College where he was part of the staff that guided SMC to the 1994 NJCAA National Championship. In addition, he was the Boys Director of Coaching at CC United Soccer Club in Cedar Park, Texas. While at CC United Vic founded the Austin Labor Day Cup tournament which now attracts over 600 teams to what is recognized by the Austin Sports Commission as one of the premier youth sporting events in Austin, Texas.
Vic possesses both the U.S. Soccer A License, as well as, the U.S. Soccer Academy Director’s License.
