CESA’s Center of Excellence Program is designed to support and guide players who wish to make the transition from recreational to competitive soccer. The program is designed for the more technically and athletically advanced recreational player who has a strong desire to increase those technical skills while also learning more about the tactical aspects of the game. The Center of Excellence will provide an introduction to our Junior Academy Program (U9s – U12).
The CESA Center of Excellence Program seeks to create an engaging, competitive, but most of all an enjoyable experience for each participant. Players participate in a 10 month season consisting of 2 one and a half hour long training sessions weekly, and games in our CESA Recreation and Academy Leagues on the weekends. Players may seek more training opportunities if they choose as dictated by the staff, and are also encouraged to attend Goalkeeper training. All Center of Excellence players are trained and coached by the CESA Center of Excellence Staff.
Players that are interested in the Center of Excellence program must participate in an evaluation training session. These sessions will take place in early May, for the following fall season. Evaluation opportunities are available throughout the 10 month season.
If you are interested in participating and/or if you have any questions regarding the Center of Excellence program please contact:
